How to Hackathon?

1. The Big Picture

Eidra Innovation Hackathon 2025 is a 24-hour sprint of creativity and collaboration. Teams from across all Eidra companies come together to build, test, and showcase ideas that can add real value for all of us.

It’s about working fast, collaborating across disciplines, and daring to try new things. The goal isn’t perfection — it’s to create something tangible you can demo at the end.

2. Forming Ideas & Teams

Submit your idea on the hackathon board.

  • Don’t have an idea? Join a team that excites you.

  • Teams should be 3–6 people, and cross-opco groups are highly encouraged.

  • Ideas close on Oct 10, and teams lock on Oct 31.

3. Hackathon Warm-Up Events

We know the best collaborations often start before the big day. That’s why we’re hosting two warm-ups:

  • Hackathon Mixer Friday AW (Oct): After-work gathering to meet experts and colleagues from across Eidra. Perfect for finding teammates, sharing ideas, or just getting inspired.

  • Hackathon Evening Kickoff Session (Nov): A relaxed preview session with pizza served. Get a head start, test tools, swap early ideas, and fuel your creativity.

We also encourage teams to organize their own prep sessions if they want to — plan, brainstorm, or prototype together in a way that fits your team to get a head start.

4. The Hackathon Days (Nov 21–22)

  • Kickoff (Friday, Nov 21 at 16:00) → We set the stage and jump in.

  • Build (Friday evening & Saturday morning) → Team time. Prototype, test, and shape your idea in a chill bar-like atmosphere with food, drinks, and music to keep the energy going.

  • Demos & Awards (Saturday, Nov 22 at 16:00) → Every team presents their creation in a high-energy showcase.

  • Celebration Party (Saturday evening, 20:00) → Wrap it up with an epic closing party: DJs, cocktails, music, and dancing.

5. Demos & Presentations

Info:

  • Each team will have 5–10 minutes to present their case.

  • Presentations begin Saturday at 16:30 in the Historical Room.
